What does HoloScenarios: Advanced Cardio Life Support?

ABOUT THE APP

HoloScenarios presents full clincial simulations with holographic patients, medical devices, and tools. Participants can share these immersive simulations from disparate locations. Together, their decisions and actions impact the patient’s improvement or deterioration. Facilitator’s can manually override to take learners across stages in your preferred order and pace.

ABOUT THE SIMULATIONS IN ADVANCED CARDIO LIFE SUPPORT

The ACLS Module, created in collaboration with Morlen Health — a subsidiary of Northwest Permanente PC — prepares learners with advanced cardiac life support skills using hyperrealistic holographic simulations.

Patient presents to the emergency department with several hours of dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath and near syncope.  He states his pulse is “racing” and he has almost fainted. Denies chest pain, cough, fevers.

Patient with history of high blood pressure, and past tobacco use presents with central chest pain that started two hours ago, has mild nausea, but denies shortness of breath.

Patient with a history of ischemic heart disease, obesity, and diabetes, presents to the emergency department with a few days of worsening shortness of breath and increasing lower extremity edema.

Patient with a history of diabetes and hypertension presents to the emergency department with a few days of dizziness, palpitations and shortness of breath. She describes a fluttering in her chest, and states she has almost “passed out” a couple times.  She states she has mild chest pressure when she tries to exert herself.

Patient with a history of ischemic heart disease, tobacco use, and hypertension presents with dizziness and near syncope since last night. She states she has come very close to fainting today. She denies chest pain, shortness of breath, focal weakness.

Decompensated Heart Failure

Patient with a history of ischemic heart disease, obesity, and diabetes, presents to the emergency department with a few days of worsening shortness of breath and increasing lower extremity edema.

Chest Pain VFIB Arrest

Patient with history of high blood pressure, and past tobacco use presents with central chest pain that started two hours ago, has mild nausea, but denies shortness of breath.

Supraventricular Tachycardia(SVT)

Patient presents to the emergency department with several hours of dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath and near syncope.  He states his pulse is “racing” and he has almost fainted. Denies chest pain, cough, fevers.

Atrial Fib w/RVR

Patient with a history of diabetes and hypertension presents to the emergency department with a few days of dizziness, palpitations and shortness of breath. She describes a fluttering in her chest, and states she has almost “passed out” a couple times.  She states she has mild chest pressure when she tries to exert herself.

Bradycardia

Patient with a history of ischemic heart disease, tobacco use, and hypertension presents with dizziness and near syncope since last night. She states she has come very close to fainting today. She denies chest pain, shortness of breath, focal weakness.

Realistic and Scalable Simulations

Robust multi-stage simulations

Branching logic allows the same simulation to produce many permutations of outcome.

Hyperrealist patients and animations

Notice intricate and subtle visual cues, like the accessory muscles of a patient indicating trouble with breathing.

Prescribe and administer medications

Choose the right dose and delivery mechanism then administer appropritately while saving thousands of dollars per learner on consumbales

Spawn expensive medical equipment

Use your headet or mobile phone to generate large medical devices, small tools, and consumables
